Utility Worker - (Brookshire, TX)
Overview:The Utility Worker is responsible for performing various general labor activities, including cleaning and maintenance, at the jobsite.Responsibilities: Performs typical cleaning and custodial work, including interior/exterior plant equipment. Performs minor maintenance and operates equipment related to greasing and oiling, rags, raking bar screen, skimming grease from tanks, etc. Washes and maintains trucks. Learns (trains) Operator level responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Willing to work all shifts, including: weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.Requirements:Education/Background: High-school degree or GED.Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver---s License (Class B valid drivers license preferred) and maintains insurable driving history.Technical: Expertise to follow manual & operating instructions. Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures & safety practices. Expertise to perform routine maintenance/repairs.
