Human Resources Assistant - (Mahwah, NJ)

Summary/Objective Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Manager Responsibilities This position assists the HR manager with the day to day operations of the Human Resources department. Main duties include but are not limited to: o Payroll preparation – ensure details is assembled and complete by assigned deadlines o Prepare and maintain employee files, assuring timeliness, accuracy, completeness, compliance and confidentiality; maintain company organization charts o Prepare reports related to: Staffing, Recruitment, Training, Performance Evaluations, etc o Handle employee requests and questions (in person, by email or phone) related to human resources policies, procedures, payroll, benefits and related areas o Assist with onboarding packet preparation, ensure info is up to date and complete o Conduct initial orientation for newly hired employees, follow-up to ensure all paperwork is returned and any follow-up questions
