Payroll Specialist - (Treynor, IA)

Job Descriptions: Are you interested in working for a progressive, growing company? We are seeking to fill a Payroll Specialist role in our Treynor, Iowa location. This position will process all data and responsibilities pertinent to the payroll, including calculating pay and deductions, preparing reports and tax payments, and maintaining employee records. Candidates who possess 2 to 3 years of direct payroll background, including multi-state payroll, are preferred. Associates degree in business, accounting, or a directly related position is a plus. Necessary background: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform all in-house payroll procedures, such as entering payroll data, verifying employee timesheets, calculating pay and deductions, and preparing reports and tax payments. Process and maintain payroll data including timesheet verification, employment verification, W-4 updates, direct deposit enrollments and changes, W-2 reissues, etc.
