Regulatory Specialist - (Aurora, IL)

Job details: This person will be handling all 3rd party food/nutritional labeling for a variety of different customers ranging anywhere from seafood to chocolate products. The breakdown of their day is below: Food Label Reviews and Nutrition Label Reviews for compliance to US FDA & USDA regulations - Priority 1- 70% of Time (high energy and high volume) -they will be using a variety of different food labeling software that they will be trained on such as Genesis, Blue, MightyFudge, SGS -they will work directly with customers on updated FDA requirements for their food labels Food Label Consultation, Ingredient & Allergen Statement Development/Reviews-20% of Time -will communicate with FDA as well as regulatory in house teams for consulting on ingredient and allergen statements for products. Customer calls, meetings- five % of Time -communication with customers as well as in house teammates on what projects are a focus and what needs to be prioritized. Team meetings, etc - 5% of Time
