Drafter - ACRO - AKAR, Jacksonville, FL Lofting: Receive drawings for new construction and repair projects and use CAD software’s to generate structural parts, generate burning machine CNC files and generate fabrication drawings. Correspond with contracted external architecture and design firms to integrate client’s facility, capabilities, and strategies and design to reduce labor material cost. Field collect lofting data onboard ships, dry-docks and shipyard facilities for design and generation of parts assemblies to create CNC files and fabrication drawings. Order receive MROC’s steel department job associated materials. Track and maintain MROC’s metal inventory and certifications. Distribute work, drawings and material to CNC burning machine operators and delivery of parts to project or fabrication areas.
