Security Officer (full-time, afternoons) - (Fort Wayne, IN)

Serves as Dupont Hospital's front line for facility-wide security of occupants and materials. Use of camera and door access systems, PBX operations, understanding and announcing fire alarms and drills. Parking control and patrol as needed. Responsive to radio communications on a routine basis. This position participates in all facility responses related to emergencies and in regard to safety and security of guests, visitors, and teammates. Minimal Acceptable Job Requirements Licensure: Current driver's license insurable under current insurance carrier. Certification in Basic Life Support (CPR) required. Background: Basic skills in ms word processing. Education: High-school diploma or its equivalent. Other: Expertise to manage multiple tasks / projects simultaneously. Expertise to make independent decisions that do not adversely affect others and interact with professionals and the public.
