Junior Accountant - (Beverly, MA)

MFA Talent Management is seeking a Junior Accountant for our growing client North of Boston. Key responsibilities: Assisting with the Accounts Receivable process including invoicing and collections Making collection calls to ensure payment is received in a timely manner Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process and review adjustments, resolve discrepancies Maintain weekly cash forecast report Assisting with the month-end close process including journal entries and account reconciliations Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with sales and field operations teams Support sales and use tax function, including state audits Support annual financial audit process Ad-hoc projects as needed Requirements: The perfect candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 0-2yrs of relevant background outstanding communication abilities positive ‘can-do’ attitude and strong attention to detail
