Compensation Accountant - (Costa Mesa, CA)

Compensation Accountant REQUIRED FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Create Microsoft excel spreadsheets and related schedules for accurate calculation and preparation of monthly sales commissions and variable pay. Reconcile and investigate discrepancies of balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Reconcile and investigate budget vs. actual discrepancies. Respond to accounting and financial questions by researching and analyzing data. Provide weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Assist in implementing tools that will increase efficiencies in all areas of accounting (A/P, A/R and payroll) Generate and provide regular reconciliation reports to management and the executive team. Analysis of general ledger accounts to ensure proper revenue and expense recognition. Additional financial and data analysis as requested. Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested. Recommend and implement corrective actions that will help achieve or exceed financial targets.
