--ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Assignments include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned. --- Perform Teller functions: accurately process currency, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. --- Balance daily cash fund. Complete over/short adjustments and send totals to Operations. --- Sell official instruments, including cashier's checks, traveler's checks, and money orders. --- Open checking, savings, CD and IRA accounts; identify customer needs and explain bank products and services. --- Refer business to other lines of business like Residential Lending. --- Provide maintenance for customer accounts: research and resolve customer questions and/or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner. --- Make consumer loan and mortgage loan referrals to appropriate personnel. --- Perform various lending assistant functions such as answer customer inquiries and take credit applications. --- Adhere to all current policies, procedures, and audit qualifications.
