The Spahr?s Seafood kitchen manager position is 1 of the most vital roles in our company. Applicants should be committed to culinary excellence, ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen was prepared properly using the freshest and highest quality ingredients available. The kitchen manager is a coach, developing the crew to perform as best as they can, while maintaining a fun, energetic, and positive environment. General Duties 1. Scheduling and Staffing. a. Ensure shifts are properly staffed. b. Hiring and training of all kitchen personnel 2. Inventory a. Product ordering. Working with vendors to source the highest quality products at a competitive cost b. Monitor inventory levels. Conduct audits to ensure proper usage and deter waste/theft 3. Enforce all rules and policies as set by General Manager, Executive Chef, Board of Directors 4. Quality Control a. Responsible for overall quality and execution of menu items b. Works with Executive chef to improve kitchen operations and efficiency
