IT Specialist with Security Clearance - (Monterey, CA)

Northrop Grumman seeks an IT Specialist to provide support to a Department of Defense research laboratory in Monterey, California. In this role you will be providing 1st and 2nd level end user support and technical assistance for incoming requests regarding remote access, software and hardware inquiries, and laptop support. All events will be tracked and maintained within a ticket managing system. Your job responsibilities can vary though your most important role is supporting end users on our client's network. You will be involved in: * Providing remote end user support to our user base both internal and external to the laboratory * Assist with remote access configuration and troubleshooting * Provide and prepare end user training and/or documentation * Prioritize and escalate incidents as necessary * Work with operations staff to resolve problems * Follow tasks to their logical conclusion and adhere to SLAs * Provide status reports
