Description The Lead CWOCN serves as a clinical expert for wound, ostomy and continence related issues to all clinical and administrative staff in their location. The Lead CWOCN will provide oversight and management to wound, ostomy and continence patients through digital and in-home consults. The Lead CWOCN will provide wound, ostomy, and continence education to clinical staff and play an accountable role in supply management and utilization. Requirements Education/Certification/Licensure BA/BS required Current CA RN License Required Graduate of WOCN program and WOCNCB Certification in wound and ostomy within 6 mons of hire required. CPR Certification required. WOCNCB Certification desired CWS Certification may be accepted in lieu of WOCNCB certification in wound Background/Knowledge/Skills Min of 3 yrs professional nursing background required. Prefer at least one-year home health background and one-year background as a WOCN in any setting.
