Software Engineer/C++/Javascript/Norfolk, VA with Security Clearance - (Norfolk, VA)

The applicant will perform research and development on advanced modeling and simulation software for distributed training and collaboration. Areas of active technology research include web based advanced real-time entity-level simulation, web-based display technology, AI behavior modeling, and web-based 3D visualization. We support customers in the defense, homeland security, education and medical markets. The applicant will participate in the entire software engineering life-cycle including qualifications, design, implementation, integration, installation and test. Typical tasks include development of simulations of new vehicles, AI-based behavior development, physics based modeling of systems, enhancement of graphical system performance, and integration with operational systems. Projects are executed by small teams, thus the applicant must be a highly motivated self starter to succeed. Necessary background Must have the expertise to obtain a Secret security clearance
