Systems Engineer IT Senior Windows Linux VMWare TS/SCI Herndon - (Herndon, VA)

The Systems Engineer Sr. is responsible for supporting management and execution of engineering project(s) and helping to ensue that the technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner. Assists in analyzing system qualifications, and works with team to design and development activities. Develops technical documentation. Supports development of system architecture and system design documentation. Ensures that all control gates are met on schedule. Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts. Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Assists with the development of system qualifications, functional qualifications, and allocation to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
