Systems Engineer Senior Amazon Web Services (AWS) TS/SCI Herndon with Security - (Herndon, VA)

The Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of the migration of the program's existing infrastructure and software systems to an AWS cloud environment. The applicant will support the analysis of the existing architecture, work across program teams to identify potential architectural changes, develop and support the plan for system migration to the cloud, and manage the transition according to that plan. Additionally, the applicant will be responsible for typical systems engineering functions on this and other engineering projects, including: - Analyzing system qualifications and leading design and development activities. - Providing technical leadership for the integration of qualifications, design, and technology. - Incorporating new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations. - Developing technical documentation. - Ensuring that all control gates are met on schedule.
