Requirements EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited Massage Therapy school with a min of 500 hours. BACKGROUND: Background as a practicing massage therapist preferred. LICENSE/CERT/REG: No special certification, registration or license required. SKILLS: Knowledge of various massage techniques, indications and contraindications for massage, expertise to set professional boundaries, and other skills that are within the scope of a massage therapist.
