Press Operator Trainee The Daily News-Record is seeking a full- time pressroom trainee. This is an entry level position for a career minded individual with a desire to learn a new trade and advance. Assignments include loading rolls of newsprint on the press, bending as well as hanging plates, setting ink, and performing routine press maintenance. Candidates who are qualified will offer a high-school degree, excellent mechanical skills, and be detail and quality oriented. Applicants must be able to work in a high energy environment under the pressure of daily deadlines and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
