Machinist - (East Bend, NC)

Reynolda Manufacturing Solutions is currently seeking a Machinist. The Machinist is responsible for maintenance & production support inside the RJ Reynolds Tobaccoville cigarette manufacturing facility. The Machinist determines machining methods, work sequence, and selection of tooling. Must work well with shop personnel. Principle responsibilities / accountabilities: five years of precision machining, is not an entry level position Former journeyman or schooling preferred Applicant must be able to read blue prints Work with maintenance, engineering, and quality depts Maintain familiarity with technical advances in the industry, evaluating their potential usefulness Inspect and verify parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gages, and comparators Participate in the continuous review of our machining processes, focusing on opportunities for improvement in productivity, quality, and cost reduction Assist in design development process Other tasks as directed by department management.
