Technical Writer - (Oxford, NC)

Basic Function: The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating technical documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work Instructions, and 1 Point Lessons (OPLs) in support of Manufacturing operations. The Technical Writer will partner with Process Owners for their respective department to ensure standard training documentation is used appropriately as well as provide training guidance for consistent deployment of developed training standards. The Technical Writer will deliver written standards for training and arrange for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to facilitate training. Major Duties: Work with departmental Operators, Supervisors, Process Engineers, and Managers to understand critical process parameters which require standard methods and human interface / function. Create technical documentation including SOPs, Standard Work Instruction, OPLs, CIL Standards, and Standard Forms. Revise Skill Matrices and Step-up Cards to align with standard procedures.
