Meter Reader Alternate Schedule Dakota Electric Meter Readers are responsible for recording residential and commercial meter readings onto hand-held meter reading device for billing purposes. Theyrecord meter readings and/or disconnecting/reconnecting services at commercial and residential meters for members transferring in and out of Dakota Electric Association service territory or for collection reasons. Monitors meters for possible malfunctions, tampering, broken glass or any potential hazards and initiates any follow-up procedures. Performs meter change-outs where required.
