JOB DETAILSThe University of Wisconsin-Platteville, School of Agriculture, seeks applications for a full time, 9-month, tenure track, Assistant Professor.RESPONSIBILITIESEngagement in teaching and advising undergraduate students. Teaching assignments include courses emphasizing meat animal production (particularly ruminants), which may include beef management and basic animal science courses, not to exceed twelve credit hours per semester. Additional responsibilities could include leadership or participation in professional and scholarly activities, international study programs, mentoring student organizations, working with state organizations and producers in the animal industry, and providing ability to the teaching mission of Pioneer Farm.QUALIFICATIONSPhD/DVM/MS in Animal Science with specialization in meat science and meat animal production with a least 1 (1) year of college level teaching completed by the start date.
