Certified Sign Language Interpretor - (Guntersville, AL)

Position schedule will be based on the school's standard schedule. While some districts may offer opportunities outside of the regular school schedule, these are not guaranteed and opportunities will be limited. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will facilitate the primary instructor in meeting their daily objectives and work closely with students who are hearing impaired. Job Goals Assist in the creation of daily and long-term lesson and activity plans Prepare, set up, and disassemble instructional materials and activities Conduct learning activities with individual students or small groups Communicate information to and from hearing impaired students using sign language Manage and secure supplies and materials Assist in facilitating student participation and management during class sessions Maintain strict confidentiality concerning student records Additional duties as assigned
