Manager, Environmental Health & Safety - (Newark, NJ)

EH&S (B.S. preferably EHS or related and 5-10 yrs industrial exp. in a preferably F&F lab setting) is fully responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance of safety and environmental policies and management of all aspects of the safety & environmental programs, policies, and procedures as required by Federal, State, Industry, Corporate regulations and in continued compliance thereof and therewith. Position also includes but is not limited to procedures, strategies, practices and programs, continuous improvement efforts for excellence in all branchs and HQ, prioritizing efforts and managing budgets, obtaining necessary environmental permits and permit modifications to maintain regulatory compliance, ensure all required regulatory and corporate reporting is completed accurately, approved and submitted in a timely manner. The conducting of EH&S audits across the branches and assist with corrective measures to ensure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate qualifications.
