Job DescriptionGeneral PurposeTo assist Retail Buyer with purchase order entry and buying process in alignment with gross margin, inventory management and merchandising for all retail stores in order to achieve increased retail sales and gross margin budgets. Essential FunctionsWork with Head Buyer and General Managers to set the branding image of retail stores through vendor and product assortment.Analyze and predict sales trends through reporting and industry trends.Assort product to ensure product selection meets needs of storesEnter Minimum/Max reorder quantities to assist with restocking levels.Track inventory levels and margins throughout the season to hit targeted goals.Assist with the inventory management of all retail products.Complete order placement, acknowledgement, receiving and payment process, in coordination with the Head buyer.Work on vendor relations to ensure the best terms, sell-thru's & margins
