Construction Inspectors - (Akron, OH)

H Cap Connect has been retained by a multi-disciplined engineering firm in Akron to recruit qualified & experienced construction inspectors for ODOT (Ohio Department of Transportation) projects. Specifically looking for ODOT pre-qualified inspectors. Construction inspectors are responsible for the daily inspection of construction work to ensure project compliance. Must be able to provide solutions to issues that may come up on the project and is required to document work daily via inspection report. REQUIREMENTS * Prior background working on ODOT inspection projects (roadways, bridges, etc.). * ODOT pre-qualified inspector (ACI Concrete Field Testing, Ohio Aggregate Technician, ODOT Flexible Pavement, etc.) * NICET II or III certification * Expertise to read & interpret construction drawings & specifications * Outstanding written & spoken communication abilities * Capable of effectively working with project teammates * Willing to further education/certifications/background
