Job DescriptionPosition : BuyerLocation: Tampa, FLFulltime Position summary The Buyer is responsible for purchasing a broad spectrum or materials, from commodities to highly technical/complex products and services. The position will evaluate current and new suppliers; ensure compliance of trade and government contract regulations and record keeping is maintained such that documents are auditable. PRIMARY DUTIES: Expedites / pull-ins to maximize production efficiency.MRP analysis and problem resolution when demand elements are not correct or appear to be incorrect.Manual tracking and analysis of safety stock items.Expedite supplier product shortages as needed to meet revenue commitments.Complete a supplier add form and obtain a W9 or equivalent from new suppliers.Purchase Order Commitment Reconciliation.Open Order Reconciliation.Support SOX audits as needed.Invoice Reconciliation.
