PRIMARY PURPOSE: Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for the planning, procurement, storage, controlling, and distribution of materials. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management. Assures quality customer service to all customers. Maintains inventory levels to meet department qualifications while minimizing transportation fees. Coordinates delivery of supplies to various departments and other sites as required. Is responsible for the procurement and quality control (e.g., storage temperature) of materials and office supplies. Contacts internal resources and external vendors to coordinate delivery and return orders and defective materials. Oversees and assists with the maintenance of assigned locations to include grounds, property and physical assets, equipment repair and replacement. Maintains records and schedules preventative maintenance.
