Visiting Assistant Professor - (Platteville, WI)

Job description:The University of Wisconsin-Platteville, is seeking a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Health and Human Performance Program for the 2017-2018 academic year. Responsibilities may include teaching the following major courses: Nutrition, Kinesiology, Exercise Science Research, Human Physiology, Physiology of Exercise, and may also include some of the following activities/courses: Strength and Conditioning, Injury Prevention and Treatment, Academic Advising, undergraduate research. Duties may also include teaching some physical activity courses to general education students.Requirements: The position necessitates the completion of a Ph.D., or ABD in Exercise Science or related position. Ability in exercise science or health promotion, and background teaching at the university level is preferred. Background working with diverse populations and be willing to conduct undergraduate research.
