Technical Writer/Illustrator Job - (Berlin, WI)

Job summary : This position reports to the Technical Publications Supervisor and is responsible for the research, writing, illustrating, layout, and publishing of all technical literature associated with Generac Mobile Products. Responsibilities : Create and update operating manuals, parts manuals, and other instructional documents for all Generac Mobile Products equipment. Assist with creation of on-product labeling; decals, control panels, data plates. Interview subject matter experts to obtain info for publication. Review OEM manuals, drawings and other data relative to operation, maintenance, and service of equipment. Observe production and developmental activities to determine parts or operating procedure detail. Create and revise illustrations to support written materials. Audit, standardize, and edit published materials. Review materials prepared by other writers and recommend revisions to format and content.
