Database Administrator and Programmer Analyst - (Decorah, IA)

Database Administrator and Programmer Analyst Luther College is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented database administrator and programmer analyst to develop and integrate software, solutions, and support for info systems serving students, faculty, staff and alumni. You will join our team of programmers within Library and Details Services. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and related experience is preferred. Knowledge and background using relational databases and procedural computer programming is required. You should have good communication expertise and issue solving skills. Technical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, web APIs, security, high availability, and network interfaces is preferred. Our campus workplace is a mix of Windows, Linux, and Mac.
