A truly unique opportunity at 1 of the most patient-centered and clinically focused hospitals in New York is now available for a Nursing Manager of Cardiovascular Step Down Care. This devoted Telemetry Unit is constantly working to expand program initiatives and provide innovative solutions in order to improve the success of the department and the long term success of its patients. The Cardiac Transitional Care Nurse Manager will play a key role in continuing this environment of progressive and focused care and join an exciting time in the evolution of the department, which is currently opening more beds in the 25-bed unit and experimenting with hourly rounding of patients to increase satisfaction and outcomes. The Nurse Manager will work with classic Progressive Care patients, including Cardiopulmonary, Gastrointestinal, and Organ Failure, as well as more specialized cases like post-operative CABG.
