VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF GEOGRAPHY AND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE The Institute at Brown for Environment and Society (IBES)invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor withexpertise in Human Geography or Physical Geography, doing researchrelevant to questions of environmental justice, and an interest inworking to promote diversity within environmental disciplines. Thisis a three-year position with potential for renewal based onperformance. The position involves 3 distinct roles: (1)conducting a varied portfolio of teaching activities, includingundergraduate geography courses, student advising and senior thesismentoring; (2) designing and implementing a summer program forundergraduates that promotes diversity in environmental studies andsciences; and (3) conducting research and publishing in relevantfields.
