Food Service Worker - Casual - (Saginaw, MI)

Position: Food Service Worker Department: Dietary Position details: The Food Service Worker is a union position that performs a variety of tasks for the Dietary Department. This can includes preparing the tray line for service, serving cafeteria meals, delivering floor supplies, operating the cash register, etc. The Food Service Worker reports to Kitchen Manager. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintains a clean and safe work atmosphere • Follows all health and safety policies, procedures and guidelines. • Maintains sanitary condition of windows, counters, glass and equipment in assigned areas, through cleaning, wiping, sanitizing dusting, mopping, sweeping, etc. • Prepares food items as required. Prepares and delivers for catering functions, late trays, nourishments, resident/client snacks and floor supplies. • Maintains proper inventory of all supplies in assigned work area. Stocks, replenishes, sets up and maintains work area in a clean, orderly and sanitary fashion.
