Canvass/Field Manager - (Amherst, MA)

Spend you summer fighting discrimination, bigotry, and hate! Help Grassroots Campaigns build a nationwide movement for an anti-Hate nonprofit. Grassroots Campaigns is a progressive organization that specializes in running face-to-face campaigns for political parties, applicants, and advocacy groups. Our campaigns focus on social issues such as LGBTQ+ Rights, Civil Rights, Reproductive Freedoms, and Voting Rights. We build up membership and base of support for our partner organizations. Also, through running field campaigns for applicants and other political organizations we can mobilize citizens to be more actively engaged and involved in politics. Canvassing during the summer is a great way make a personal impact on the issues that you care about while also building skills and making connections. Many leaders in politics and in the nonprofit arena got their start this way, and we always have opportunities for advancement.
