Production Supervisor - 1st Shift - (Mt Pleasant, IA)

Production Supervisor is responsible for daily production in the area of responsibility. Leading and training production teammates in the production area of responsibility ensuring the efficient and safe manufacturing of quality products in a manner that is consistent with company policies and procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Seeks resolution of team player concerns to create an environment that expresses care, concern and consistency toward all teammates. * Promotes cooperation and dedication to superior workmanship among all teammates. * Provides training for teammates on company policies, rules, regulations and job specific duties and responsibilities. * Audits performance to verify knowledge transfer and adherence to training. * Initiates needed maintenance work orders and monitors maintenance activities. * Attains all budgeted and standard operating costs. * Monitors and enforces adherence to GMP's and specifications. Maintains high levels of sanitation, housekeeping and product quality.
