ENSTAR Natural Gas Company is seeking seasonal workers for the 2017yr. Positions are expected to begin in April/May and end in October ENSTAR Natural Gas Company is involved in the transmission and distribution of natural gas in Southcentral Alaska. JOB SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Transmission Operations Manager, assists with operation and maintenance of the Natural Gas Transmission Pipeline, Natural Gas Compressors, and related facilities. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS: Assist with operating and maintaining pipeline facilities and gas compressors. Install, operate, maintain, repair, overhaul, and test a wide variety of industrial equipment used in the natural gas transmission industry. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions; maintain a functional knowledge of the operation of the rotating and stationary equipment. Maintain documentation of changes. Assist with the operation and maintenance of Solar centrifugal gas compressors driven by Solar Saturn natural gas turbine engines.
