Automotive Collision Instructor - (Cedar Rapids, IA)

Kirkwood Community College is seeking an Automotive Collision Instructor who will be responsible for fostering student learning of Automotive Collision Repair in a I-CAR certified program of study. Teaching assignment may include hands-on and lecture classes related to general automotive collision repair to specific automotive systems. Applicant should have strong mechanical skills and the expertise to effectively manage groups of students working on individual hands-on assignments. Teaching may also include teaching courses outside the program-specific assignment (e.g. related math). Teaching assignments may be located at multiple Kirkwood campuses. Must be I-CAR certified or able to obtain certification prior to teaching. Required course load is fifteen credits per semester.
