IT Testing Specialist/(HIS) QA Engineer - (Ontario, CA)

Randstad Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Testing Specialist/(HIS) QA Engineer to assist our client with a special project. The IT Testing Specialist will design test scenarios, author test scripts, execute tests, document and track defects to certify that applications meet the approved system requirements for internally developed or external purchased products. Types of testing may include system, integration, regression and end-to-end testing. IT Testing Specialists collaborate with other IT staff as appropriate, to review and understand system requirements, review test strategy and design. Key responsibilities: Uses risk based approach to identifying scope of testing. Creates test plans, identifies test environments, dependencies, constraints, priority of test cases and scheduled time for testing. Creates and executes complex SQL queries. Responsible for ensuring end to end testing methodology is followed, including all appropriate documentation and requirements.
