Nurse Educator Perinatal Education - (West Haven, CT)

An award-winning community hospital, well known for nurse-friendly policies and clinical strength is currently looking to add a Nurse Educator for Women's Services. This hospital was recently recognized by The Joint Commission as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures. The Leapfrog Group also gave this hospital an "A" grade for safety. The Labor and Delivery Nurse Educator will work in the Community Birth Education Department and will be responsible for the overall professional development of the Perinatal Education offerings for the hospital. This includes developing, leading and assessing all programs, training staff to lead the classes, scheduling courses and teaching and leading actual classes for the community.
