The Maryland Department of Transportation's Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) Software engineering team is seeking experienced Developers for our Glen Burnie, Maryland facility. The Mainframe Developer will perform the lead or advanced level of work designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining applications and programs using generally accepted computer languages or other developmental tools including languages such as COBOL, C , HTML, SQL, VISUAL COBOL, DB2, CICS. Employees in this classification may assign, review and approve the work of lower-level IT Programmer Analysts or IT Programmers OR may function as a project manager for a major computer programming project.
