Staff Accountant I or II This position may be filled as a level I or II depending on the requirements of the selected applicant. This individual in this position is primarily responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and reconciling financial data to ensure accurate recording of the FHLBank's transactions, including preparing various journal entries and reconciling subsidiary ledgers and various accounts; and accounts payable and cash disbursements. Requires a significant level of judgment and interpretation of FHLBank's daily transactions, account coding and expense vs. capitalized process. Requirements: Level I: Bachelor's degree in accounting or four-year college diploma plus equivalent work background is required. One to 3 yrs of similar or related experience.
