Description Performs a variety of engineering assignments in work measurement andmethods analysis for the establishment of standards. Analyzes and recommends utilizationof production equipment, facilities, and personnel. Develops layouts to promoteefficient and safe utilization of plant facilities and equipment. Supports costreduction and capital spending efforts. Works closely with other departments toincrease productivity, quality, and efficiency. Assignments include but are not limited to the following. * Participates in various engineering assignments requiringevaluation and ingenuity. * Supports equipment acquisitions and process improvementsthrough the generation of plant and work area layouts. Maintains facilitylayout CAD files. * Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods. Documentsstandard rates, crew sizes, and methods by performing physical time studies.
