Merchandise Re-Buyer Location: Manchester, CT Merchandise Re-buyers are key people within the Bob’s Discount Furniture organization who play a vital role by assuring that we have optimum inventory levels and availability. The primary function of the Merchandise Re-buyer is to continually manage a group of items, as assigned by the Group Manager – Replenishment, to assure that Bob’s Discount Furniture will maximize business and profitability. Responsibilities * Function in a manner that is consistent with the Bob’s Discount Furniture way of doing business.It is of paramount importance that the Re-buyer upholds the principles of honesty, integrity and fairness when interacting with employees, suppliers and customers * Order, flow, track and manage the inventory of an assigned group of items (skus and/or vendors).This includes, but is not limited to, sku analysis, purchase order creation and tracking, product transitions
