Generator Field Service Technician Standby Systems Inc. - Chester, VA The position of Generator Field Technician is for our Main office in Chester, VA. Standby Systems Inc. has been in business for over 27yrs. We are looking for a self-starter, highly motivated person to join our team. Hours: Monday-Friday eight a.m. -- 4:30 p.m. with some overtime and on call duties. Assignments include: Performing preventative and corrective maintenance of standby generator systems five KW through 2000 KW Following proper procedures for load bank testing Troubleshooting, diagnosing and performing emergency repair of AIR CONDITIONING/DC controls Troubleshooting, repairing and diagnosing gas and diesel industrial engines Reading and understanding wiring diagrams and schematics Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers Working independently with minimal daily supervision Working in a safe manner at all times Necessary experience and skills: Min 1 yr background in the power generation industry or
