PUBLIC WORKS DRIVER/LABORER UNION POSITION AVAILABLE FULL TIME THE BOROUGH OF WEST PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY, PA is seeking applications for the Union position of a Full time Department of Public Works Driver/Laborer. Candidates who are qualified shall meet the min qualifications of being 18 yrs of age or older, U.S. citizenship, possess a high-school diploma or higher degree, have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license and a safe driving history, expertise to lift a min of 30lbs, expertise to operate various types of truck vehicles and equipment, and previous background in performing street maintenance and snow plowing. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a valid valid drivers license license and having some previous experience history and background as a Department of Public Works employee. Any candidate not possessing a valid valid drivers license license upon being hired must agree to obtain 1 within 60 days of being hired.
