As 1 of the nation's fastest growing Christian foster care ministries, The Bair Foundation is currently seeking candidates for an Intake Coordinator in Kent, OH. We are seeking someone who demonstrates a passion for foster are and ensuring that we find the right homes and families for the children we serve. Core Responsibilities: * Responsible for assessing foster families' expertise to provide a safe and nurturing environment for foster children. * Schedules and attends community events and manages recruitment efforts for foster/adoptive families. * Makes recommendations regarding the approval and rejection of foster and adoptive candidates. * Oversees all ongoing training to meet state qualifications. * Provides training to perspective foster parents in order to meet rules, regulations and to ensure that foster parents are ready to engage in this vital role. * Conducts need assessments of foster families. * Position reports directly to the Director of Social Services, and is an integral part of the team.
