Lead Engineer I - (Detroit, MI)

Purpose: To professionally respond to tenant requests and the public as required. To effectively and efficiently operate and maintain all HVAC and MEP equipment. To serve as a Systems Operator and to perform and supervise maintenance work. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Operates and maintains all HVAC and MEP equipment under the direction of the Engineering Manager to assure proper building functions. 2. Maintains superior appearance and working condition of all the MEP systems assigned to the Engineering Department. 3. Develops and maintains positive tenant relations through prompt, courteous response to tenant requests. 4. Be courteous, neat, clean, and in proper uniform; always representing the Company in a professional, moral, and ethical manner. 5. Maintains calm demeanor in emergency situations. 6. Assists in complying with all City, State and Federal safety and environmental laws, codes, standards and regulations.
