Network Engineer - (Harrisburg, PA)

Our client is looking for a Network Engineer on a contract basis. This team is the build team if you are referring to the plan/build/run phases. The top skills they are looking for are: Cisco routing/switching (Enterprise background - 6500 series, Nexus switches) BGP (or any other routing protocols...OSPF, RIP, EIGRP) WAN (Wide Are Network background using the following: Frame Relay, T1, T3, MPLS) The day-to-day tasks will be working within the Cisco environment. This position is primarily responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing the enterprise data network infrastructure to ensure that performance and reliability meets and exceeds the qualifications of the business. This position will require a good knowledge of Cisco routers/switches as well as background in an enterprise environment working with Frame Relay, T1, T3, MPLS, Sonet. The Network Engineer will be asked to gather details from the business users as needed and also to work with vendors.
