Senior Medical Writer - (San Rafael, CA)

Summary: The Senior Medical Writer is responsible for the dissemination of scientific and clinical data to healthcare providers, enabling them to provide the best possible care to their patients. Organizationally, this position is part of the Global Medical Communications department supporting Global Medical Affairs. Critical functions include strategic publication planning as well as researching, drafting, reviewing, editing, and finalization of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations. Great communication and collaboration both cross-functionally within the organization and with external experts are critical components of this role. Responsibilities: Development and timely execution of the publication plan in collaboration with BioMarin Global Medical Affairs and Clinical Sciences and external authors/investigators Lead global publication planning meetings and coordinate publication efforts globally
