Accounting/Purchasing Specialist - (Johnston, IA)

Goodwill Industries of Central Iowa is seeking an Accounting/Purchasing Specialist. The Accounting/Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the purchasing process for the agency. This includes working with agency staff on bid qualifications, preparing bid requests, and negotiating contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority. The Accounting/Purchasing Specialist will compile all agency purchase requisitions, create purchase orders and issue appropriate orders to vendors. Will match packing slips to purchase orders, ensure proper authorization and coding are on all documents and submit with invoice to Payable Specialist.
